TakTable™, or even better two of them, makes a great sewing table.
What do you do when you’re home from college? Take advantage of all the cool things at your parents’ house, like sewing machines (I am partial to the Sailrite Ultrafeed over the old Pfaff 60, but they both have their place). Here’s Jill modifying a skirt she bought at the thrift store. Thanks to these handy folding tables where there was a Christmas tree last week now there is a handy spot to mark and cut your new used skirt.
Sure it’s rugged enough to be left outside for years, but why do that when there are so many temporary needs in the house? People have reported using it for gift wrapping, laptop computers, overflow seating, auto maintenance, bars, buffets, crafting, TV dinners, laundry, and of course, cutting cloth. There’s literally no end to the toughness and utility of this table, and when you’re done, it disappears in a corner, into a closet, or under a couch to be used again and again for generations.
